Dan has done several landscape design projects at both my home and my commercial properties. Each project has resulted in huge improvements to the properties. Dan is very easy to work with does a great job of presenting various landscape options. When I wanted to make some tweaks to the plan, he would modify the drawings and get them back to me within a day. His final drawings are very detail oriented, making it very easy to get bids on the project and for the landscapers to complete the work. I recommended Dan to one of my neighbors, who just completed their project last week, and they are also thrilled with the results. I will never attempt another landscaping project without Dan's assistance!

Dan of All By Design KC provided us excellent service from design, sourcing bids from landscape companies, to project oversight. Dan in essence not only developed the overall landscape design but was able to serve as our general contractor. Our request was for him to present us a design around the entire house, looking to enhance our curb appeal and our outdoor living space out back. His design nailed it! Bringing in a variety of plants, trees, stone walkways, a water feature and a beautiful lighting design. Most importantly Dan was able to address a long standing drainage problem in our backyard. Dan made it easy, he presented us with three bids from quality landscape companies, gave us insight into each company and coordinated all contracting. Dan was onsite everyday to ensure the project was moving along as designed.

We hired Dan to redesign our backyard, and we couldn't be happier with the results. He really listened to what we wanted and came up with a design that was both beautiful and functional. He enlarged our patio, made the space more usable, and recommended trees that now give us much more privacy. The final result turned out even better than we imagined. Highly recommend!

Worth every penny. I had designed my own backyard patio and was pricing pavers out with a local KC supplier. Once I started to realize the amount of work and material cost I was getting into I started thinking that maybe I should get a professional's advice. Dan's design achieved the look I was going for in every aspect. It was a much more elegant design that would fit the back of the house and my yard much better than my design. Dan's design was much easier to construct and avoided about a half dozen pitfalls that were in my original design. I would highly recommend Dan if you're looking to add a patio or outdoor landscaping project.

This was my first time working with a landscape designer. Dan was amazing. He helped to completely redesign our entire yard. All sides of our home now looks amazing. The natural boulder retaining wall is also a very unique touch. Something different from the rest of our neighbors and compliments our home nicely.
